FAQ
About Our Services
Q: Is this like getting therapy?
A: Yes it is, but it’s a blend of approaches and techniques, so it’s not considered “traditional” therapy. There are so many different approaches to counseling, therapy, and coaching, such as massage therapy, behavioral therapy, integrative or holistic therapy, Brainspottiing, psychotherapy, physical therapy, acupuncture, and so on. All evolved to help us to be our best physical and emotional selves. As a trained and experienced Functional Intuitive therapist and guide, I love being part of this professional community as it takes all kinds to help us get to where we need to be.
Q: What are your qualifications?
A: I bring a diverse and well-rounded background that deeply informs my work. My early training as an EMT, Paramedic, and Massage Therapist provided a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, the effects of injury and illness, and an understanding of common medical treatments.
Over the years, I’ve continued to expand my skills through in-depth training in Brainspotting, Reiki, Craniosacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation, Acupuncture, and Nutrition. With more than 27 years of experience, I’ve developed highly effective healing practices, training programs, and business strategies—both for myself and in support of others on their path. Please visit my About page for more details.
Q: How do I get started?

Q. You mention working with horses as a method to help with healing. Are horses always involved, and if so, does that mean in-person sessions only?
A. Horses can be used to help with healing in various ways and is always recommended; it can be a profound experience and lead to self-discovery. However, the presence of a horse is not required to work with me, and I help people over Zoom as well.
Q: How often will you work with me?
A: Every one of my clients has their own personal needs and together we will figure out what that is for you. You may only spend 1 or 2 days with me during a group workshop, or you may want to have regular one-on-one weekly sessions with me.
Q: How do I prepare for my session?
A: Whether you come to my group sessions or have a one-on-one session, it’s all about you. All I ask is that you come to me open to receiving healing and ready for changing your perceptions of self.
Q: I have a friend (family member, co-worker, etc.) who could really use some help. How do I convince them to get help from you?
A: Please share with them my website. While we may want change for someone, we need to respect their path and choices. Perhaps they will connect with me or perhaps my website will inspire other options for them. I maintain a safe and approachable space for anyone who would like to inquire with me.
Q: Do you work with (drug, alcohol, or other) addicts?
A: I do. I help people struggling with addiction to identify the source of pain and find ways to heal those wounds by tapping into their higher selves. I do this through either an Alternative, Complementary or Integrative approach.
Q: What does being a medium mean?
A: I’ve had my psychic abilities since birth and have spent my life deeply committed to the practice of mediumship. I'm guided to support people, animals, and spirit who are experiencing deep pain—often receiving clear insight into the root cause and how it's impacting them.
I have helped in many different ways, including:
Helping people to resolve chronic physical pain or illnesses
Guiding people during their end-of-life process
Delivering messages from unborn children to their mothers
Even helped to find a lost cat!
A spiritual medium serves as a bridge between the physical world and the spirit realm. Through intuitive and energetic connection, a medium receives and relays messages from loved ones who have passed on, spirit guides, or other non-physical sources of wisdom. These messages often come through as images, words, sensations, or inner knowing, and are shared with compassion and care. We are acting as a Medium between the spirit world and the physical world.
The intention of mediumship is to provide comfort, clarity, and insight. It can offer reassurance that we are not alone, help bring peace around unresolved emotions, or gently guide you back to your own inner wisdom.
Each medium works a bit differently, but at the heart of it is a deep respect for the connection between seen and unseen, and a commitment to holding safe, supportive space for whatever may come through.

Here at The Harnessed Core, we are identifying and utilizing your very own source of internal energy and strength for continued health and healing.
