Equine Energy Harnessing
Whenever possible, we strive for the presence of equine (horses) in our sessions and workshops.
At The Harnessed Core, this does not equate to horseback riding or learning how to brush and feed horses, although those are certainly worthy activities. Instead, we tap into the incredible energy of these tremendous creatures simply through their presence. We call this practice Equine Energy Harnessing (EEH).
Horses amplify clarity by heightening the magnitude of awareness. They move energy within themselves and others, providing a profound experience in self-discovery. They sense human intention and help provide a different experience in clarity.
A horses energy helps to balance the human energy centers. Also known as chakras, they are energy centers located throughout the body. When the chakras are balanced, we feel more centered, grounded, and whole. Horses can help to balance our chakras by simply being in their presence.
Here are some specific examples of how researchers are studying horse energy:
Researchers at the University of Exeter in England are studying the effects of horse energy on people with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). They have found that spending time with horses can help to reduce PTSD symptoms such as anxiety, flashbacks, and nightmares.
Another study, published in the journal Complementary Therapies in Medicine, found that horse-assisted therapy was effective in improving self-esteem and quality of life in people with mental health conditions.
Researchers at the University of Kentucky are studying the effects of horse energy on veterans with chronic pain. They have found that equine-assisted therapy can help veterans to reduce their pain levels and improve their quality of life.
If you’ve never been around a horse or have a fear of horses, our EEH-based sessions are a wonderful, safe way to experience the healing benefits of horses!
